Auto training (no screen focus → then review)

What It Does

Removes the feedback loop from conscious attention so the rider functions from feel rather than optimising to a display. The review after creates a comparison between felt experience and actual data — surprises in the review are diagnostic information.

What to Feel

The work feels internally directed. Post-review surprises (where data differs from feel) point to specific awareness gaps.

Common Mistakes

  • Glancing at the screen during the exercise.
  • Reviewing immediately without first forming a felt impression of what happened.
  • Using this before the rider has developed enough internal reference for the comparison to be meaningful.
